Communication barriers of people with hearing disorders in dealing with hearing part of society

Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie barier komunikacyjnych osób z wadami słuchu w kontaktach ze słyszącą częścią społeczeństwa. W pierwszym rozdziale zostaną przedstawione sposoby komunikacji osób niesłyszących i niedosłyszących oraz próba charakterystyki grupy jako mniejszości kulturowo-językowej. Drugi rozdział zawierać będzie opis sytuacji osób głuchych w procesie edukacji, na rynku pracy i w dostępie do rehabilitacji. Zostaną w nim również opisane bariery komunikacyjne. Trzeci rozdział to opis badań własnych i wnioski z nich płynące. Celem pracy jest wskazanie głównych barier komunikacyjnych oraz ich przyczyn.

The subject of the Bachelor Thesis is to present communication barriers of people with hearing disorders in dealing with hearing part of society. In the first chapter are presented along with the ways of communication between deaf and hearing impaired, an attempt to characterize the group as a cultural and linguistic minority. The second section will include a description of the situation of deaf people in education, the labor market and in access to rehabilitation. It will be also described communication barriers. The third chapter is a description of the author’s and conclusions of the flowing. The aim of the study is to identify the main barriers in communication and their causes.
