Women in Polish politics - history and present

The presence of women in politics is a topic widely discussed . The aim of this study is to analyze and show the changes that have taken place over several centuries in the context of the commitment of the political representatives of the " fair sex " in Poland. The main thesis of the work is, in Poland since the late 80th century there has been an increase in the number and importance of women in politics. In this paper also discussed the issue of granting voting rights to women in different regions of the world , and highlighted the factors which affect the presence of the " fair sex " in political life.

Obecność kobiet w polityce to temat szeroko dyskutowany. Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza i ukazanie zmian jakie nastąpiły na przełomie kilku wieków w kontekście zaangażowania politycznego przedstawicielek „płci pięknej” w Polsce. Główna teza pracy brzmi: w Polsce od końca lat 80. XX wieku nastąpiło zwiększenie liczebności i znaczenia kobiet w polityce. W niniejszej pracy poruszono również kwestię przyznawania kobietom praw wyborczych w różnych regionach świata, a także zwrócono uwagę na czynniki jakie wpływają na obecność "płci pięknej" w życiu politycznym.
