Bezinteresowność jako wysublimowana interesowność w przyjaźni etycznej w ujęciu Arystotelesa

This thesis is dedicated to the question of selflessness in reference to the ethical friendship in the Aristotelian theory of friendship. The author characterizes three types of a friendship which are given by the Philosopher and shows that, despite the differences, there is a common feature that links them, i.e. self-interest. Thereafter, he submits for a critical analysis the altruistic complexion of such concepts of the Aristotelian theory of friendship as goodwill, a friend as a “second me” or an act of sacrifice life for a friend. Consequently, the author comes to conclusion that the selflessness as a part of the ethical friendship in the Aristotelian theory of friendship is nothing but the subtle selfishness.

Praca poświęcona jest kwestii bezinteresowności w odniesieniu do przyjaźni etycznej w arystotelesowskiej teorii przyjaźni. Autor charakteryzuje trzy typy przyjaźni wyróżnione przez Filozofa i wykazuje, że pomimo różnic, łączy je wspólna cecha – interesowność. Następnie poddaje krytycznej refleksji bezinteresowną orientacje takich figur Arystotelesowskiej teorii przyjaźni jak życzliwość, przyjaciel jako „drugi ja”, czy akt poświęcenia życia za przyjaciela. W rezultacie autor dochodzi do wniosku, że pod bezinteresownością w przyjaźni etycznej w arystotelesowskiej teorii przyjaźni, kryje się wysublimowana interesowność.
