Perception of the place of residence and quality of life of the inhabitants of Cracow (by example of Ruczaj-Zaborze and Witkowice housing estates).

The aim of the work is to present the distribution and diversity of the level and quality of life occurring between the residents of the Ruczaj Zaborze and Witkowice housing estates. The goal was to put together results regarding socio-economic differences. The degree of satisfaction of respondents with their place of residence was checked and also if it had any influence on their quality of life. Data analysis was based on a questionnaire intended for residents of the selected housing estates. The study showed differences in the accessibility of services and infrastructure as well as the quality of life of the surveyed residents.

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie rozmieszczenia przestrzennego oraz zróżnicowania poziomu i jakości życia występującego między mieszkańcami osiedli Ruczaj Zaborze i Witkowice. Realizacja celu polegała na zestawieniu ze sobą wyników dotyczących różnic społeczno-ekonomicznych. Sprawdzono stopień zadowolenia respondentów z miejsca zamieszkania oraz czy ma to wpływ na ich poziom i jakość życia. Analiza danych została oparta na kwestionariuszu ankietowym przeznaczonym dla mieszkańców wybranych osiedli. Przeprowadzone badanie wykazało różnice w zakresie dostępności dla usług i infrastruktury oraz jakości życia badanych mieszkańców.
