Quranic Jesus - a prophet or the son of God?

Subject of this thesis is ‘Quranic Jesus – a prophet or the son of God?’. Its purpose is to analyze the life and prophetic activity of Messiah and attempt to prove the Muslim thesis speaking about his humanity, and thus denying the divinity of Isa. The thesis moves the theme of the prophet’s childhood, his prophetic mission, the mystery of his death, the role of the Day of Judgement, as well as persons in the vicinity of Jesus. Individual issues of the life of God's envoy which were presented in the thesis were confronted with a general outline of the biography of Jesus in the Christian tradition.

Temat niniejszej pracy dyplomowej to „Koraniczy Jezus – prorok czy syn boży?”. Jej celem jest analiza życia i proroczej działalności Mesjasza oraz próba udowodnienia muzułmańskiej tezy mówiącej o jego człowieczeństwie i tym samym zaprzeczającej boskości Isy. Praca porusza tematykę dzieciństwa proroka, posłannictwa, tajemnicy jego śmierci, roli w Dniu Sądu Ostatecznego, a także osób znajdujących się w otoczeniu Jezusa. Poszczególne zagadnienia życia bożego wysłannika przedstawione w owej pracy zostały skonfrontowane z ogólnym zarysem biografii tej postaci w tradycji chrześcijańskiej.
