Rosja w polityce zagranicznej Polski w latach 1989-2004. Wybrane aspekty relacji

The aim of the study is the analysis of the Polish-Russian relations and the establishment of the place and role of Russia in Polish foreign policy. Can this relationship be interpreted as the current status, or whether it is a specific process? Are there any factors that determine the policies of the two countries regardless of the period of time? In order to answer these questions, this paper analyzes the Polish-Russian relations from the earliest times to the early 1990s. In the next part, particular attention is focused on the bilateral relations in the transition period after the fall of the eastern bloc and on selected issues of mutual Polish-Russian relations in 1989-2004.

Celem pracy jest analiza stosunków polsko-rosyjskich, oraz określenie miejsca i roli, jaką odgrywa Rosja w polityce zagranicznej Polski. Czy wzajemne relacje możemy interpretować jako stan obecny, czy też może są one specyficznym procesem? Czy istnieją czynniki determinujące politykę obu państw niezależnie od okresu? Aby odpowiedzieć sobie na te pytania analiza stosunków polsko-rosyjskich zaczyna się w niniejszej pracy w czasach najdawniejszych, kończy zaś na początku lat 90. XX wieku. W dalszej części szczególna uwaga zostaje skupiona na relacjach dwustronnych w okresie przemian po upadku bloku wschodniego oraz na wybranych kwestiach wzajemnych relacji polsko-rosyjskich w latach 1989-2004.
