Postać kobiety w "Il Disprezzo" Alberta Moravii i "Le Mépris" Jean-Luca Godarda.

La tesi si pone l’obbiettivo di illustrare l’immagine della donna come mostrata nel romanzo di Alberto Moravia “Il Disprezzo”, e nel film di Jean-Luc Godard “Le Mépris”. A tale scopo vengono analizzati vari fenomeni presenti nell’opera di Moravia riguardanti la protagonista con riferimenti ad alcune teorie femministe o teorie di gender. La seconda parte, oltre a introdurre alcune riflessioni sull’adattamento cinematografico, presenta il paragone tra le due protagoniste e le soluzioni adoperate dal regista per trasportare il romanzo allo schermo.

The main aim of this thesis is to present the immage of a woman as shown in “Il Disprezzo”, a novel written by Alberto Moravia and “Le Mépris”, a film directed by Jean-Luc Godard. For this purpose I analize various phenomena from the book in regard to the female protagonist, with references to femminist or gender theories. The second part of the thesis, in addition to introduce some thoughts about the film adaptation, presents the comparison between two female protagonists and the solutions used by the director to transfer the novel to the screen.

Głównym celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie postaci kobiety z powieści Alberta Moravii „Il Disprezzo” i filmu Jean-Luca Godarda „Le Mépris”. W tym celu zostaną zanalizowane różne zjawiska obecne w powieści, a odnoszące się do głównej bohaterki, z odniesieniami do teorii feministycznych czy teorii gender. W drugiej części, oprócz przedstawienia refleksji o adaptacji filmowej, przedstawiam porównanie dwóch bohaterek i rozwiązania wykorzystane przez reżysera, by przenieść powieść na ekran.
