Oppidulum Radomysl - analiza zespołu małomiasteczkowej architektury murowanej w Radomyślu nad Sanem.

Radomyśl nad Sanem jest jedną z wielu miejscowości, które utraciły prawa miejskie na wskutek reformy administracyjnej lat trzydziestych. Choć uznaje się, iż los takich miejscowości został już przesądzony, nie muszą być one skazane na powolną degradację, co staram się udowodnić. Istotne są trzy aspekty rozważanego pola badawczego: pierwszym z nich jest kwestia materiału - choć w miejscowości znajdują się bardzo interesujące obiekty drewniane, skupiam się tylko na architekturze murowanej, bowiem Radomyśl znany był w przeszłości ze znakomitych murarzy, co znalazło odzwierciedlenie w zabudowie śródmieścia; drugim aspektem jest wyselekcjonowanie analizowanych przeze mnie obiektów - skupiam się na tych budynkach, które powstały w czasie gdy Radomyśl posiadał prawa miejskie; ostatnim elementem mającym wpływ na ostateczny kształt badań jest kwestia małomiasteczkowego ducha odzwierciedlonego w sposobach myślenia i zachowania się społeczności - jest to więc zbadanie świadomości mieszkańców na temat walorów krajobrazowych, urbanistycznych i kulturowych miejscowości oraz określenie specyfiki tego środowiska kulturowego. Praca ma także poddać inspiracji do planowania przestrzennego miejscowości.

Radomyśl nad Sanem is one of many towns that lost their municipal status as a result of the 1930s administrative reform. Although it is said that the reform determined the fate of such places, they do not have to face slow deterioration, as I am trying to prove. There are three important issues related to the organization of the research material: one of them being the building material - although there are multiple examples of interesting wooden architecture in Radomyśl, I am only focusing on brick architecture as the place was formerly known for great bricklayers and the results of their work can still be observed in the town centre. Another aspect is the time frame: since I am considering the "small-town" architecture, the buldings selected for the study date back to the times when Radomyśl exercised its municipal rights. The last important issue that influenced the research is the "genius loci" reflected in the ways of thinking and acting in the physical environment. With this in mind, I am trying to determine the local residents' awareness of the landscape, urban and cultural values of this cultural environment. The thesis also provides inspiration for planning.
