Types of collaboration among Polish actors in the General Government from 1939 to 1945

This bachelor thesis is considering the topic of collaboration among Polish actors during the German occupation of Poland, between years 1939-1945. The focus is put on differences and similarities in the situation of Polish actors and on the attempts to describe the reasons of undertaking the collaboration with the German occupant. This collaboration, usually consists of carrying their profession in German theatres. The thesis also touches the topic of the collaboration in the Polish society and the topic of the punishment of the collaborators. The people described in the thesis are the part of the Warsaw acting community and they are in general related to the "Komedia" theatre.

Praca licencjacka rozważa temat kolaboracji w środowisku aktorów polskich w latach 1939 - 1945. Skupia się na różnicach i podobieństwach w sytuacji aktorów i próbuje opisać różne przyczyny podjęcia się kolaboracji z okupantem niemieckim. Jest to współpraca, polegająca najczęściej na wykonywaniu zawodu w teatrach niemieckich. Poruszony zostaje również temat recepcji współpracy w społeczeństwie, a także wymierzanie kar kolaborantom. Osoby opisywane w pracy należą do warszawskiego środowiska aktorskiego, głównie związane są z teatrem "Komedia", działającym w tym okresie.
