Dostępna czy nieuchwytna? Przestrzeń artystyczna w "Nieznanym arcydziele" Honoré de Balzaca

La thèse consacrée au récit intitulé "Le chef d’œuvre inconnu" d’Honoré de Balzac (écrit en 1837) constitue un essai de l’analyse et de l’interprétation de ce texte en se focalisant sur la construction de l’espace artistique. The study about "Le chef d’œuvre inconnu", a novel wrote by Honoré de Balzac in 1837, is devoted to an interpretation in terms of construction of the artistic space. The first part constitutes an analysis of literal description of three Parisian ateliers (Porbus’s atelier, Nicolas Poussin’s atelier and Frenhofer’s atelier) and serves to define the correspondences between artist and milieu where he works. In the next part of study thanks to consideration of artistic discourse (determinate by spatial factor) it is possible to observe the relation between artist and his artwork. The notions of symbolic, mystery and indefinite, seems crucial for comprehend the sense of Balzac’s novel. In effect, "Le chef d’œuvre inconnu" appears a reflection devoted to intangible border between construction of the space and its destruction.

Celem pracy poświęconej opowiadaniu autorstwa Honoré de Balzaca pt. "Nieznane arcydzieło" (1837) jest dokonanie analizy oraz interpretacji owego utworu pod kątem konstrukcji przestrzeni artystycznej. Podczas gdy zagadnienia związane z literackim opisem trzech paryskich atelier (atelier Porbusa, atelier Nicolasa Poussina oraz atelier Frenhofera) służą za punkt wyjścia dla rozważań dotyczących związków między artystą a jego otoczeniem, analiza dyskursu artystycznego (z kluczowym dla niego pojęciem przestrzeni) stanowi wykładnię relacji pomiędzy twórcą a jego dziełem.
