Contacts of convicts to imprisonment with family and the outside world

Tematem pracy są kontakty skazanych na karę pozbawienia wolności z rodziną i światem zewnętrznym.W pierwszym rozdziale zostaną omówione zagadnienia ogólne, definicje oraz rys historyczny w obrębie kontaktów skazanych ze światem zewnętrznym, rodziną, osobami bliskimi oraz innymi osobami.Rozdział drugi zawiera aksjologię problemu. Obejmuje problematykę praw człowieka, a także określa międzynarodowe standardy wykonywania kary pozbawienia wolności z uwzględnieniem ich respektowania w polskim systemie penitencjarnym w kontekście reali-zacji prawa do kontaktów ze światem zewnętrznym.Kolejny rozdział opisuje zasady, formy i rodzaje oraz podstawy prawne kontaktów skazanych z rodziną, osobami bliskimi i innymi osobami oraz światem zewnętrznym w polskim ustawo-dawstwie.W ostatnim rozdziale przedstawiono praktykę w egzekwowaniu prawa skazanych do kontak-tów ze światem zewnętrznym. Niniejsza praca powstała w oparciu o obowiązujące akty prawne, jak również poglądy, doktryny i orzecznictwa.

The theme of this dissertation are contacts of convicts to imprisonment with family and the outside world.In the first chapter we will discuss general issues, definitions and historical background within the prisoners' contact with the outside world, family, relatives and others.The second chapter contains the axiology of the problem. It covers human rights issues and also defines international standards of execution of a sentence of imprisonment and their respect in the Polish penitentiary system in the context of the realisation of the right to contacts with the outside world.The next chapter describes the rules, forms, types and the legal basis for prisoners' contact with the family, relatives and other persons as well as the outside world in the Polish legislation.The last chapter presents how the practice in the law enforcement influences the convicts and their contact with the outside world.This work is based on the existing legal acts, as well as the views of doctrine and jurisprudence.
