Recepcja myśli José Ortegi y Gasseta w Argentynie.

The thesis shows that Ortega y Gasset's thought's precence in Argentina made a significant contribution in a process of intellectual and spiritual development of the country. The first chapter discusses the philosopher's activity and the most important for the dissertation's topic aspects of his thought. The second presents the situation in Argentina at the turn of the 20th century and refers to the roots of the local philosophical tradition. In the third chapter Ortega y Gasset's influence on Argentinian intellectual life with reference to his three visits in Argentina is presented. The thesis considers not only the activity of the philosopher from the perspective of Latin American country, but also portrays Argentina in a different than commonly known context.

Teza pracy głosi, że wątek ortegańskiej obecności w Argentynie stanowi znaczący wkład w proces intelektualnego i duchowego rozwoju kraju. Pierwszy rozdział przedstawia zarys działalności filozofa i najważniejsze z punktu widzenia tematu pracy aspekty jego myśli. Drugi rozdział mówi o sytuacji Argentyny u progu XX wieku, sięgając również do korzeni tamtejszej refleksji filozoficznej. W rozdziale trzecim omówione jest oddziaływanie filozofa w odniesieniu do trzech jego wizyt w Argentynie. Praca nie tylko pozwala na spojrzenie na działalność Ortegi y Gasseta z perspektywy kraju letynoamerykańskiego, lecz ukazuje również Argentynę w nieco innym niż powszechnie znany kontekście.
