Single motherhood in the Soviet cinema of 1970s and 1980s

Celem pracy było przedstawienie sytuacji samotnych matek na tle wybranych filmów radzieckich. Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów. W pierwszy rozdziale autor przedstawia proces zmian w ZSRR na tle przemian polityczno-społecznych. W drugim rozdziale znajdują się informacje dotyczące samotnych matek, krótkie przedstawienie prawodawstwa i sytuacji dzieci. Ostatni rozdział zawiera analizę filmów pod kątem samotnego macierzyństwa.

The purpose of this text is to depict the situation of single mothers as presented in some Soviet films. The text is comprised of three chapters. In the first the author describes the process of transformations in the USSR in the background of socio-political changes. In the second chapter one can find informations about single mothers, short presentetion of Soviet law and description of the stuation of single mother's children. The last chapter contains the analysis of Soviet cinema through the lens of single motherhood.
