A presente dissertação visa analisar o livro "Dentro do Segredo – Uma viagem na Coreia do Norte" da autoria de José Luís Peixoto. A obra, lançada em 2012, pela sua forma inscreve-se em vários campos da literatura, portanto, o primeiro objetivo que nos propusemos foi o exame da sua particular hibridez, no processo do qual são abordadas tais áreas como Literatura de Viagens e Reportagem. O segundo alvo foi analisar, à luz de Imagologia, as imagens que surgem do texto, principalmente da imagem norte-coreana, mas não ignorando uma breve autorreflexão sobre o eu ocidental. A primeira parte do trabalho consta de três capítulos que servem de fundamentos histórico-teóricos das áreas supramencionadas. Deste modo, no primeiro capítulo explicamos o conceito de viagem e do viajante, apresentamos a história e o desenvolvimento do género e mencionamos a noção do orientalismo de E. Said. O segundo capítulo trata da história e da caracterização de Reportagem, acabando nas observações de uma lenda polaca nesse campo, isto é, de Ryszard Kapuściński. O terceiro capìtulo é dedicado a Imagologia, onde desrevemos a sua temática, o aspecto atual e anterior. Em seguida, explicamos o seu lugar dentro da Literatura Comparada e os vínculos que tem com outras disciplinas. Mencionamos também a sua terminologia e a técnica metodológica. As duas partes da dissertação estão separadas por um fragmento que trata do autor e da obra em questão. A segunda parte tembém é subdividida em três partes essenciais, as quais correspondem tematicamente aos seus equivalentes na parte teórica. Dessarte, no primeiro capítulo examinamos, de vários pontos de vista, o carácter viageiro da obra. No segundo procuramos pontos de convergência entre o livro e o género Reportagem. No terceiro capítulo refletimos sobre a força do imaginário coletivo, o qual, inevitavelmente, é baseado em estereótipos. Depois analisamos as imagens de vários aspectos norte-coreanos, as quais foram criadas no texto. No fim, avaliamos a relação do autor para com a realidade apresentada.
Niniejsza praca ma na celu analizę książki "Dentro do Segredo – Uma viagem na Coreia do Norte" autorstwa José Luís’a Peixoto. Dzieło to, wydane w 2012 roku, poprzez swoją formę wpisuje się w różne obszary literatury, a zatem pierwszy cel jaki sobie postawiliśmy to zbadanie jego szczególnego, hybrydycznego charakteru, skupiając się na powiązaniach z takimi obszarami jak literatura podróżnicza oraz reportaż. Drugim zamierzeniem była analiza, w świetle imagologii, obrazów, które pojawiają się w tekście, a zwłaszcza obrazu północnokoreańskiego, nie zapominając jednakże o krótkiej autorefleksji nad zachodnim ja. Pierwsza część pracy składa się z trzech rozdziałów, które stanowią studium historyczno-teoretyczne wyżej wspomnianych dziedzin. Tym oto sposobem w pierwszym rozdziale wyjaśniamy pojęcia podróż i podróżnik, prezentujemy historię oraz rozwój gatunku, jak i wspominamy termin E. Said’a – orientalizm. Drugi rozdział przedstawia historię oraz charakterystykę reportażu i kończy się obserwacjami polskiej legendy na tym obszarze, czyli Ryszarda Kapuścińskiego. Trzeci rozdział, poświęcony imagologii, opisuje jej tematykę oraz dawny i obecny charakter. Następnie wyjaśnia jaką pozycję zajmuje w komparatystyce oraz jakie powiązania wykazuje z innymi dyscyplinami. Wspomniana zostaje również właściwa jej terminologia oraz technika badawcza. Obie części pracy są rozdzielone fragmentem o autorze i omawianym dziele. Druga część dysertacji także jest podzielona na trzy główne części, które odpowiadają tematycznie rozdziałom w części pierwszej. W pierwszym rozdziale badamy więc, z różnych punktów widzenia, podróżniczy charakter dzieła. W drugim poszukujemy punktów zbieżnych z gatunkiem reporterskim. W trzecim zaś rozważamy o sile zbiorowej wyobraźni, która, nieuchronnie, opiera się na stereotypach. Następnie analizujemy obrazy różnych aspektów północnokoreańskich, które zostały stworzone w tekście. Na koniec oceniamy jaka jest relacja autora do przedstawionej rzeczywistości.
This thesis aims to analyse the book "Dentro do Segredo – Uma viagem na Coreia do Norte" by José Luís Peixoto. This text, which was published in 2012, by its shape belongs to various fields of literature, so the first objective that we set ourselves was the examination of its particular hybridity, in the process of which we approach such areas as travel literature and reportage. The second target was to analyze, in the light of imagology, images that emerge from the book, especially the North Korean image, but not ignoring a brief self-reflection on the Western self. The first part of our work consists of three chapters which serve as historical and theoretical foundations of the above areas. Thus, in the first chapter we explain the concept of travel and traveler, we present the history and development of the genre and we mention the notion of Orientalism by E. Said. The second chapter deals with the history and characteristics of reportage, and it finishes with the observations of a Polish legend in this field, that is, Ryszard Kapuściński. The third chapter is dedicated to imagology, where we describe the subject-matter, as well as its current and previous appearance. Then we explain its place among the Comparative Literature and the connection it has with other disciplines. We also mention its terminology, methodology and technique. The two parts of the dissertation are separated by a fragment which deals with the author and the work in question. The second part also is divided into three main parts, which correspond thematically to their equivalents in the theoretical part. Thusly, in the first chapter we examine, from various viewpoints, the traveler nature of the book. In the second we seek points of convergence between the work and genre reportage. In the third chapter we reflect on the power of the collective imagination, which, inevitably, is based on stereotypes. Then we analyze the images of several North Korean issues, which were created in the text. Finally, we evaluate the author's relation to the presented reality.
