Spatial distribution of the electronics industry in Poland

The focus of the thesis is to display development and spatial location of electronic industry companies in Poland. It was shown how the branch had developed since the twenties of the 20th century. The issue of the largest factories location and the location factors were examined. The most important regions were analysed and their share in general electronic production was examined. The term “greenfield” was explained and the certain investments of this kind were described.

Praca zajmuje się rozwojem i przestrzenny rozmieszczeniem firm przemysłu elektronicznego w Polsce. Przedstawiono historię rozwoju branży od czasów międzywojennych do obecnych. Zajęto się problematyką umiejscowienia największych zakładów produkcyjnych, a także czynnikami lokalizacji. Przeanalizowano największe obszary koncentracji przedsiębiorstw produkcyjnych i przedstawiono udział województw produkcji elektronicznej w całym przemyśle. Wyjaśniono pojęcie greenfield, opisano wybrane inwestycje tego typu.
