The impact of european funds on the development of the Skawina Commune

The present study concerns the impact of funds EU on the development of the Skawina commune. The purpose of the work is to answer the question whether the local government has properly utilized the available opportunities connected with acquiring EU funds for the development of the commune. The work consists of three chapters. The first part deals with issues of local government, the second chapter contains detailed information about the Skawina commune, the current strategy and the most important goals of the old municipal strategies and programs that have been implemented or will be implemented in the coming years. In this part the commune made good use of available perspectives. The third chapter is empirical and contains conclusions drawn from the surveys conducted. The main purpose of the study was to get the opinions of the inhabitants of the Skawina Commune on the impact of European Union funds on the development of the commune.

Niniejsza praca dotyczy wpływu funduszy unijnych na rozwój Gminy Skawina. Celem pracy jest odpowiedz na pytanie czy samorząd terytorialny właściwie wykorzystał dostępne możliwości związane z pozyskaniem środków unijnych w celu rozwoju gminy. Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów. Pierwsza część pracy dotyczy problematyki samorządu terytorialnego, drugi rozdział zawiera szczegółowe informacje dotyczące Gminy Skawina, obecnej strategii oraz najważniejsze cele starych strategii gminy oraz programów które zostały zrealizowane lub które będą realizowane w najbliższych latach. W części tej gmina należycie wykorzystała dostępne perspektywy. Trzeci rozdział jest rozdziałem empirycznym i zawiera analizy oceny i wnioski wyciągniętych z analizy przeprowadzonych badań ankietowych. Głównym celem badania było poznanie opinii mieszkańców Gminy Skawina na temat wpływu środków Unii Europejskiej na rozwój gminy.
