Interrogative sentences in the German language in the light of speech act theory

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza zdań pytających w języku niemieckim w świetle teorii aktów mowy. Praca składa się z następujących rozdziałów: teoria aktów mowy, akty mowy w zdaniach pytających, jak również rozróżnienie i podział zdań pytających. W pierwszym rozdziale opisana jest teoria aktów mowy Searle’a z uwzględnieniem aktu wypowiedzi, aktu propozycjonalnego, illokucyjnego i perlokucyjnego. Tematem drugiego rozdziału są akty mowy występujące w zdaniach pytających. Trzeci rozdział przedstawia rozróżnienie i podział zdań pytających z uwzględnieniem cech, które je charakteryzują. W części praktycznej wybrane zdania pytające analizowane są według rodzaju zdania, aktu wypowiedzi, referencji i predykacji, aktu illokucyjnego, jak również aktu perlokucyjnego.

The aim of the thesis is the study of interrogative sentences in the German language in the light of speech act theory. The thesis comprises the following chapters: speech act theory, speech acts in interrogative sentences and the differentiation of interrogative sentences. In the first chapter there is described Searle’s speech act theory in consideration of parts of the speech act, namely the utterance act, the propositional act, the illocutionary act as well as the perlocutionary act. The second chapter discusses speech acts, which occur in interrogative sentences. In the third chapter there are presented different types of interrogative sentences with regard to their features. In the practical part of the thesis the selected interrogative sentences are analysed in relation to the type of sentence, the utterance act, the referring act and the predicating act, the illocutionary act as well as the perlocutionary act.

Das Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist die Untersuchung der Fragesätze in der deutschen Sprache im Lichte der Sprechakttheorie. Die Arbeit besteht aus den folgenden Kapiteln: Sprechakttheorie, Sprechakte in Fragesätzen und der Unterscheidung der Fragesätze. Im ersten Kapitel wird die Sprechakttheorie nach Searle mit Rücksicht auf Teilakte beschrieben, nämlich auf den Äußerungsakt, den propositionalen Akt, den illokutionären Akt und den perlokutionären Akt. Das zweite Kapitel beschäftigt sich mit Sprechakten, die in Fragesätzen vorkommen. Das dritte Kapitel stellt verschiedene Arten von Fragesätzen hinsichtlich ihrer Merkmale dar. Im praktischen Teil der Arbeit werden die ausgewählten Fragesätze nach der Satzart, dem Äußerungsakt, der Referenz und Prädikation, dem illokutionären Akt sowie dem perlokutionären Akt untersucht.
