New aspects of the idea of bel composto in artistic work of Piotr and Maciej Polejowskis, an artistic family from Lviv (1761-1786)

This paper is meant to contribute to the current state of research and present the examples of best works of Piotr and Maciej Polejowskis the Lvivian artistic family. Setting together the arrangement of the presbytery of Franciscans church in Przemyśl (1761-1765), the modernisation of a collegiate church in Sandomierz (1771-1773), modernisation of Conventual Franciscans church in Zasław (1773-1775) and Pauline Fathers church in Włodawa (1783-1786) will show the variety and high level of the idea of symbiosis of arts in decorating and furnishing of sacral interiors on the East land of Polish Commonwealth.
