Zapobieganie przestępczości poprzez kształtowanie przestrzeni-program polityki prewencyjnej CPTED

The purpose of this study is to present a CPTED strategy focusing on the prevention of crime through the appropriate shaping of environment . The concepts of preventive policy such as security, environment and crime prevention are discussed. A survey from the Social Opinion Research Center on the sense of security among the residents of the surrounding areas is presented. The study shows the evolution of the strategy and an establishment of CPTED in Poland and its main assumptions. The legal issues which are in forced in Poland, which do not fully meet the objectives of preventive policy, are mentioned. The study also presents the activities of scientific centers, which seek to implement CPTED and also illustrate examples of implementation of the strategy in Poland.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie strategii CPTED, skupiającej się na zapobieganiu przestępczości poprzez odpowiednie ukształtowanie przestrzeni. Omówiono pojęcia związane z polityką prewencyjną takie jak bezpieczeństwo, przestrzeń oraz zapobieganie przestępczości. Przedstawiono ankiety z Centrum Badania Opinii Społecznej na temat poczucia bezpieczeństwa wśród mieszkańców danych okolic. W pracy zaprezentowano ewolucję strategii i narodziny CPTED w Polsce oraz główne jej założenia. Przytoczono zagadnienia prawne obowiązujące w Polsce, które nie spełniają w pełni założeń polityki prewencyjnej. W pracy zaprezentowano również działania ośrodków naukowych, które dążą do wdrażania CPTED a także zobrazowano przykłady realizacji strategii w Polsce.
