The idea of a cheap school book in Poland. Evaluation of the introduction of the governmental school book and electronic school book

Niniejsza praca, składająca się z dwóch części, stanowi omówienie zjawiska wprowadzenia do polskich szkół rządowego, „darmowego” podręcznika oraz e-podręcznika. Pierwsza część analizuje tekst ustawy wprowadzonej w 2014 roku, zgodnie z którą uczniowie szkół podstawowych oraz gimnazjalnych objęci są dotacją celową. Autor pracy zwraca szczególną uwagę na zagrożenia, jakie niesie ona zarówno dla wydawnictw podręcznikowych, jak i uczniów. Druga część traktuje o historii publikacji elektronicznych w polskich szkołach oraz jest szczegółowym opisem programu „Cyfrowa Szkoła”, przygotowującym do wprowadzenia e-podręczników. Autor szczegółowo omawia szanse i zagrożenia związane z tym pomysłem.

This work, consisting of two parts, is a discussion of the phenomenon of introduction into Polish schools, governmental "free" school books and electronic school books. The first section of the thesis examines the text of the governmental law introduced in 2014, according to which a financial subsidy covers students in primary and secondary schools. The author of the research pays particular attention to the dangers it attaches to both publishing houses and pupils. The second part deals with the history of electronic publications in Polish schools and is a detailed description of the program "Digital School." There is a detailed discussion of the opportunities and threats associated with this idea conducted.
