Towards panoptic reality. Drones and the right to privacy

Rozwój technologii dronów niesie ze sobą nie tylko nowe możliwości, ale stwarza także szereg zagrożeń. Biorąc pod uwagę kierunek rozwoju tej technologii, dziedziną najbardziej zagrożoną wydaje się być sfera ludzkiej prywatności. Dlatego celem pracy jest wykazanie, że technologia dronów stwarza realne zagrożenie dla prawa do prywatności oraz sformułowanie propozycji ograniczenia negatywnych skutków rozwoju tej technologii. W tym celu scharakteryzowano możliwości wykorzystania dronów, a także dokonano analizy zagrożeń. Na koniec przedstawione zostały propozycje rozwiązań w płaszczyźnie normatywnej, technologicznej oraz edukacyjno-informacyjnej.

The development of drone technology brings not only new opportunities, it also creates a number of threats. Taking into account the direction of said development, the area that seems threatened the most is human privacy. Therefore, the aim of this work is to demonstrate that drone technology poses a real threat to the right to privacy and to formulate proposals that will help reduce the negative impact of this technology. To this end, drones have been characterised and risk analysis has been carried out. Finally, solutions in the normative, technological, and education-information fields were proposed.
