Lexical changes in moder japanese driven by the development of communication technologies. A case study of mobile phone.

This paper analyses the lexical changes resulting from the popularization of the mobile phone among Japanese society. It describes neologisms related to the device's new model and the functions it operates. It also analyses a japanese communication model, both written and oral, and the transformation it undergoes due to the popularization of the invention of the phone. This paper also presents the social effects of the classification of mobile phone as an appliance of everyday use, and discusses their lexical aspects.

Praca analizuje zmiany leksykalne powstałe w wyniku popularyzacji telefonu komórkowego wśród społeczeństwa japońskiego. Opisuje neologizmy związane z nowym modelem urządzenia oraz obsługiwanymi przez niego funkcjami. Analizuje także japoński model komunikacyjny, zarówno pisemny, jak i ustny, oraz przekształcenia, jakim uległ wskutek upowszechnienia wynalazku telefonu. Praca przedstawia również społeczne skutki zaliczenia telefonu komórkowego do kategorii urządzeń codziennego użytku oraz omawia je na płaszczyźnie leksykalnej.
