Opracowane listy pochodzą z Archiwum Oficyny Poetów i Malarzy w Krakowie oraz z Biblioteki Polskiej w Paryżu i obejmują lata 1975–1983. Wstęp charakteryzuje postać Szymona Laksa jako publicysty, przybliża dzieje jego owocnej współpracy z Oficyną oraz relacje łączące go z wydawcami i zarazem przyjaciółmi.

The thesis is a scholarly edition of letters by Szymon Laks and Poets' and Painters' Press from years 1975–1983. The documents published in thesis are kept in Archives of Poets' and Painters' Press in Kraków and in the Polish Library in Paris. In the introduction one can find information about Laks's work as a publisher, his cooperation with Poets' and Painters' Press and the history of his friendship with Krystyna and Czesław Bednarczyk, founders of the publishing house.
