Arab-Muslim Identity on the basis of chosen works of Adonis

The author of the work takes up the challenge to determine the Arab-Muslim identity. This master's thesis focuses mainly on the way of understanding identity and presentation of this issue by syrian poet- Alī Aḥmad Sa'ῑd Iṣbir. This work is divided into three chapters. The first describes the history of literature in the syrian-lebanese region, the second chapter presents the life, views and artistic output of the poet. In the last chapter the author focuses on the concept of Arab-Muslim identity on the basis of chosen works by Adonis . The author's opinion on this issue was supported by his quotations and the interpretation of the poems. This work contains also the translation of selected parts from Haḏa huwa ismῑ (This is my name) from the collection Waqt bayna ar-Ramād wa al-Ward (A Time Between Ashes and Roses).

Autorka pracy podejmuje wyzwanie określenia tożsamości arabsko - muzułamńskiej. Praca skupia się przede wszystkim na sposobie pojmowania tożsamości i prezentowania tej kwestii przez syryjskiego poetę - Alī Aḥmada Saʿῑda Iṣbira . Niniejsza praca jest podzielona na trzy rozdziały. Pierwszy z nich opisuje historię literatury w regionie syryjsko-libańskim, w drugim rozdziale zostało przedstawione życie, poglądy i dorobek artystyczny poety. Natomiast w ostatnim rozdziale autorka skupiła się na pojęciu tożsamości arabsko -muzułmańskiej na podstawie wybranych dzieł Adonisa. Stanowisko autora dotyczące tego problemu zostało poparte cytatami jego wypowiedzi oraz interpretacją utworów. Praca ta zwiera również tłumaczenie wybranych fragmentów Haḏa huwa ismῑ ( To jest moje imię) ze zbioru Waqt bayna ar-Ramād wa al-Ward ( Czas między popiołem a różą).
