Assessment of professional development opportunities on the example of animator profession

Recognizing the professional development of man as one of the categories of general personality development seems to be one of the most important contemporary research disciplines. It is this issue that makes it possible to answer the fundamental questions posed by many young people within the paradigm of the future of the profession and of social success, including: what are the determinants of professional development ?, or "how to stimulate the professional development of man?" The research was aimed at answering the question of whether participation in a leisure time course gives the prospect of professional development and whether it is a participant's basis for happy long-term work. The subject of the study was a representative group of people active in the field of animation and those who have completed courses covering the field of tourism. A total of 173 people of different sexes were examined, including 152 women and 21 men. The age range of the subjects surveyed was between 16 and 30 years old. Verification of assumed research hypotheses was conducted on the basis of survey results and chi2 statistical test. As a result of the research it was stated that the work of the leisure animator on the one hand gives many opportunities for professional development in domestic and foreign tourism and on the other brings professional satisfaction.

Poznawanie rozwoju zawodowego człowieka, jako jednej z kategorii ogólnego rozwoju osobowościowego wydaje się jednym z ważniejszych, współczesnych nurtów badawczych zawodoznawstwa. To właśnie to zagadnienie umożliwia potencjalnie odpowiedzieć na fundamentalne pytania stawiane sobie przez wielu młodych ludzi w obrębie paradygmatu obrazu przyszłości zawodowej i sukcesu społecznego, w tym: jakie czynniki istotnie warunkują rozwój zawodowy człowieka?, czy też „jak stymulować rozwój zawodowy człowieka?”. Niniejsze badania miały na celu odpowiedzieć na pytanie czy uczestnictwo w kursie z zakresu animacji czasu wolnego, daje szanse na rozwój zawodowy człowieka i czy stanowi to dla uczestnika podstawę do szczęśliwej długotrwałej pracy. Przedmiotem badania była reprezentatywna grupa osób aktywnie działających w zakresie animacji oraz takich, które ukończyły kurs obejmujący zagadnienia tej dziedziny turystyki. Łącznie przebadano 173 osoby o różnej płci w tym 152 kobiety i 21 mężczyzn. Przekrój wiekowy badanych osób zawierał się między 16 a 30 rokiem życia. Weryfikację założonych hipotez badawczych przeprowadzono w oparciu o wyniki ankiet i test statystyczny chi2. W efekcie badań stwierdzono, że praca animatora czasu wolnego z jednej strony daje wiele możliwości rozwoju zawodowego w turystyce krajowej i zagranicznej, a z drugiej przynosi satysfakcję zawodową.
