Le sujet du mémoire de licence est le narrateur dans «Indiana», le premier roman de George Sand. Le travail contient l’analyse du type du narrateur du point de vue de la théorie de Gérard Genette, la présentation de son attitude envers les personnages et des moyens par lesquels le narrateur montre leur vie intérieure. Le mémoire traite aussi de la présence du narrateur dans le texte à travers ses nombreuses digressions et ses commentaires. Le but du travail est de montrer la spécificité de la création du narrateur dans le premier roman de George Sand.

W pracy została także poruszona problematyka obecności narratora w opowiadaniu (liczne dygresje oraz komentarze). Celem pracy było ukazanie specyfiki kreacji narratora w pierwszej powieści George Sand.

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the narrator in George Sand's first novel, "Indiana". The thesis includes the analysis of the type of narrator from the point of view of Gérard Genette's theory, presentation of his attitude towards the characters and means by which the narrator shows their inner life. The work also provides the analysis of the narrator’s presence in the text by its numerous digressions and comments. The purpose of the thesis is to present the specificity of the creation of the narrator in George Sand's first novel.
