Structure and level of aptitude in professional career planning for students of Economics

The main purpose of this thesis was to verify the level and structure of aptitude in professional career planning for students. The survey has been conducted on research sample which consisted total number 89 students of Economics from both full and part-time programme, and Bateria Testów Uzdolnień Ogólnych has been used as the mean of measurement. Most cases of measured aptitudes have proven not to be related to the studying programme. The results of the research imply, that the group surveyed students of Economics is homogenous in terms of the structure and level of the aptitudes. What is more, the hypothesis of transcultural invariance of cognitive abilities has been proven to be true.

Głównym celem pracy jest weryfikacja poziomu i struktury uzdolnień w planowaniu karier zawodowych studentów. Badanie przeprowadzono na próbie 89 studentów ekonomii trybu stacjonarnego i niestacjonarnego, a jako narzędzie pomiarowe zastosowano Baterię Testów Uzdolnień Ogólnych. W większości przypadków mierzonych uzdolnień nie stwierdzono związku między ich poziomem a trybem studiowania. Wyniki badań wskazują, że grupa badanych studentów ekonomii nie jest homogeniczna ze względu na strukturę i poziom uzdolnień. Ponadto, potwierdzona została hipoteza o transkulturowej niezmienniczości uzdolnień poznawczych.
