Ocena funkcjonowania miejskiej komunikacji autobusowej w Płocku oraz opłacalności budowy systemu tramwajowego

Celem niniejszego opracowania była analiza systemu transportu zbiorowego w Płocku. Omówiono obecny stan autobusowej komunikacji miejskiej oraz dokonano oceny jej jakości na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań kameralnych i terenowych. Kolejnym zagadnieniem była koncepcja budowy linii tramwajowej oraz jej opłacalność. W wyniku analizy zebranego materiału udało się wywnioskować, iż obecna komunikacja autobusowa w zadowalającym stopniu zaspokaja potrzeby transportowe mieszkańców Płocka, a inwestycja w stworzenie komunikacji tramwajowej przy obecnym kierunku rozwoju miasta jest nierentowna.

The objective of the thesis is to analyze the public transport system in Płock. Present state and quality of public transport were mapped out on the basis of office and field research. Another issue is the concept of creating a tram line and its cost-effectiveness. As a result of the analysis of the collected material, it was concluded that the current city bus service provides the transport needs of the residents of Płock, and investment in the creation of tram system is unaffordable in the current direction of the city development.
