Dziedzictwo kulturowe Lachów Sądeckich

The aim of this thesis is to present the original character of the cultural heritage of the regional group: Lachy Sądeckie. It focuses on history and demography of the region and highlights the elements that make up the group's tradition, ceremonies and widely understood folklore. At the same time it emphasizes their uniqueness. Another valid issue of this work is the group identity. What is particularly important, is the prospect of its functioning in the 21st century, when many traditional cultures and their heritage are being replaced by globalization. On the other hand, during the last years we can observe a return to the roots and at the same time growing interest in tradition and fascination with traditional cultures. This contributes to maintaining material and immaterial cultural heritage of various regional groups, such as the exemplified Lachy Sądeckie.

Celem tej pracy jest ukazanie oryginalnego charakteru dziedzictwa kulturowego grupy regionalnej, jaką są Lachy Sądeckie. Praca ta skupia się na ukazaniu historii i demografii regionu, jaki zamieszkują oraz uwydatnieniu elementów składających się na ich tradycję, obrzędy i szeroko rozumiany folklor. Tym samym podkreśla ich unikatowość. Kolejnym ważnym zagadnieniem poruszanym w tej pracy jest tożsamość grupowa tejże grupy regionalnej. Szczególnie istotna jest tu perspektywa jej funkcjonowania w XXI wieku, kiedy wiele tradycyjnych kultur i ich dziedzictwo jest wypieranych przez globalizację. Z drugiej strony w ostatnich latach obserwuje się powrót do korzeni, a tym samym zainteresowanie i fascynację na nowo kulturami tradycyjnymi. Przyczynia się to do podtrzymywania materialnego i niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego różnych grup regionalnych, czego przykładem są Lachy Sądeckie.
