Tubil΄nyj mif yak skhovok vid kolonial΄noyi real΄nosti u "Nostal΄hiyi" V. Shklyara

The article approaches Vasyl Shkliar's novel "Nostalgia" from the viewpoint of postcolonial criticism, focusing on the analysis of characters and symbols which are of significance for Ukrainian cultural and national identity. The study touches upon the so-called post-Chernobyl syndrome, the ressentiment of colonial object, historical memory including topographic memory, the deconstruction of imperial stereotypes and soviet biases, as well as upon the reconstruction of authentic Ukrainian world.
