Poziom samokontroli u osób uzależnieniem do pornografii internetowej

Głównym celem badania było sprawdzenie hipotezy o ujemnym związku pomiędzy samokontrolą a uzależnieniem od pornografii internetowej. Przebadano 101 pełnoletnich heteroseksualnych mężczyzn. Wykluczono z analizy wyniki trzech osób badanych ze względu na niezastosowanie się do instrukcji (N = 98). Badanie miało charakter indywidualny i zostało zrealizowane przy użyciu trzech skal NAS-50, SAST-PL-M, PPCS oraz zadania komputerowego z dystraktorem zaprojektowanego na potrzeby niniejszej pracy. Samokontrola, rozumiana jako wynik w NAS-50, istotnie korelowała z uzależnieniem od pornografii. Wyniki korelowały z wszystkimi zmiennymi - SAST-PL-M, PPCS oraz FOT_ILO. Dodatkowo, korelacje te okazały się być negatywne, zatem ich kierunek był zgodny z przewidywanym.

The main purpose of the study was to test the hypothesis about the inverse relationship between self-control and problematic pornography internet use. In this study 101 adult heterosexual men were examined. Results of three subjects were excluded from the analysis due to non-compliance with the instructions (N = 98). The study was individual and carried out using three scales NAS-50, SAST-PL-M, PPCS and a computer task with a distractor designed for the purpose of this work. Self-control, understood as a result in the NAS-50, significantly correlated with addiction to pornography. The results correlated with all variables - SAST-PL-M, PPCS and FOT_ILO. In addition, these correlations turned out to be negative, so their direction was consistent with the predicted one.
