Dragon as an omnipresent symbol of the city of Kraków

It takes the readers for a journey through the long history of Kraków, across many centuries, documenting the presence of dragons along the way. The article unveils them in the context of the city and - when we look from a wider perspective - depicts the condition of the city and pictures the sense and the magnitude of its urban history. Finally, it tells the story of a city where the process of searching for the absolute meaning keeps happening, in order for the inhabitants to find a sense of security and a sense of belonging - but also shaping their own worlds.
