Ustrój I Rzeczypospolitej jako realizacja antycznej idei systemu mieszanego

The work presents relationship between the ancient idea of monarchia mixta and the government of the First Commonwealth of Poland.The work consists of four chapters. The first chapter describes an idea of monarchia mixta in ancient political thought.The second chapter is about Polish political thought in the later sixteenth century and the general sejm of the First Commonwealth of Poland.The third chapter is devoted to relationship between the mixed government and main political institutions in the First Commonwealth of Poland, for example the royal election.The fourth one is an attempt to answer the question whether the regime of the First Commonwealth of Poland is guilty of its downfall.

Praca przedstawia wpływ idei systemu mieszanego na ustrój I Rzeczypospolitej.Składa się ona z czterech rozdziałów. W pierwszym została omówiona idea ustroju mieszanego w starożytnej myśli politycznej.Drugi rozdział traktuje o staropolskiej myśli politycznej z końca XVI wieku i jej wpływu na konstrukcję sejmu walnego. W trzecim rozdziale jest poruszone zagadnienie zależności między ustrojem mieszanym a podstawowymi instytucjami ustrojowymi I Rzeczypospolitej, np. wolną elekcją.Czwarty jest próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy to ustrój I Rzeczypospolitej jest winny jej upadku.
