The dissertation aims to present the system of international legal protection of children from involvement in armed conflicts. It presents and interprets international legal regulations that provide this kind of protection and introduces international mechanisms for enforcement of such regulations. It also presents a model scope of international legal protection of children from involvement in armed conflicts. This is to provide a comparison between current state of protection and the state that is desired.

Praca skupia się na zaprezentowaniu prawnomiędzynarodowego systemu ochrony dzieci przed angażowaniem w konflikty zbrojne. Przedstawione oraz poddane wykładni zostały przepisy prawa międzynarodowego zapewniające taką ochronę oraz przepisy ustanawiające najważniejsze mechanizmy egzekwowania owych norm. Zaprezentowany również jest modelowy zakres ochrony dzieci przed angażowaniem w konflikty zbrojne, co umożliwia porównanie aktualnego stanu normatywnego do hipotetycznego stanu idealnego.
