License plate recognition using machine learning

Praca opisuje architekrutę, sposób implementacji oraz zasadę działania aplikacji rozpoznającej tablice rejestracyjne przy pomocy uczenia maszynowego, stworzonej podczas tworzenia pracy. Dodatkowo przedstawiono w niej proces tworzenia oraz trenowania silnika rozpoznawania obrazów, a także popularne sposoby rozpoznawania ich przy użyciu sieci neuronowych. Zbadano również skuteczność wybranego sposobu, oraz wskazano możliwy kierunek rozwoju aplikacji.

The paper describes an architecture, a way of implementation and principle of working of the license plate recognition application created in time of writing the thesis. It also describes the process of creation and training of the object recognition engine and popular neural networks implementations which can be used to accomplish it. Moreover, it tests its effectiveness and point the possible direction of application' development.
