Praca opisuje stosunki pomiędzy Unią Europejską a Wielka Brytanią od czasów powojennych do końca rządów premiera Davida Camerona. W pierwszym rozdziale omówione są dwa najważniejsze terminy odnoszące się do tej pracy - konserwatyzm i eurosceptycyzm. Drugi rozdział sięga w historię od Churchilla, członkostwa państwa w EWG i objęcia stanowiska premiera przez Margaret Thatcher. Trzeci, ostatni rozdział ujawnia bardziej nowoczesną politykę Wielkiej Brytanii, za czasów XXI wieku, wynikiem której jest drugie referendum o wyjściu państwa ze struktur Unii Europejskiej.
The work describes the relationship between the European Union and Great Britain from the post-war period to the end of Prime Minister David Cameron's leadership. The first chapter discusses the two most important terms related to this work - conservatism and euroscepticism. The second chapter goes back to the history from Churchill, membership in the European Community and the assumption of Prime Minister position by Margaret Thatcher. The third and last chapter reveals a more modern policy of Great Britain, during the 21st century, which result is Brexit - the impending withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
