W gąszczu interpretacji i kłamstw. Realność i fikcja w powieści Yusufa Atılgana Anayurt Oteli

W pracy przeprowadzona zostaje analiza powieści „Anayurt Oteli” autorstwa dwudziestowiecznego tureckiego pisarza Yusufa Atılgana. Jego twórczość jest bardzo ceniona przez czytelników i badaczy literatury w Turcji, jednak żaden z utworów pisarza nie został dotychczas przetłumaczony na język polski i twórca nie jest znany polskiemu czytelnikowi. Z tego względu na początku pracy jej autor uznał za zasadne zamieszczenie szczegółowej noty biograficznej. W rozdziale pierwszym przedstawiono charakterystykę twórczości Yusufa Atılgana w kontekście historycznoliterackim ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem powieści stanowiącej przedmiot badania oraz przegląd poświęconych pisarzowi i jego utworom prac naukowych i publicystycznych. W kolejnych rozdziałach przeprowadzona została analiza sposobów kreacji świata przedstawionego, a w szczególności specyfiki narracji i alternacji punktów widzenia w tekście. Analiza formy pozwoliła następnie na przejście do analizy elementów fabularnych i skupienie się na dotychczas praktycznie nie badanym zagadnieniu realności i fikcji wydarzeń w utworze. Wyciągnięte wnioski dają możliwość nowego spojrzenia na główne węzły fabularne powieści i autorską wizję świata, a co za tym idzie – ponownego odczytania utworu uwzględniającego niezbadane dotychczas aspekty.

The author analyzes the ‘Anayurt Oteli’ novel by a twentieth-century Turkish writer Yusuf Atılgan. His works have been highly appreciated by readers, critics and literary scholars in Turkey, however, none of them has been translated into Polish so far and the Polish reader is not yet familiar with the writer. For this reason, at the beginning of the work, the author considered it relevant to include a detailed biographical note. The first chapter presents the characteristics of the works of Yusuf Atılgan in the historical literary context with particular emphasis on the novel that is the subject of the study and a review of scholar works and other writings regarding Yusuf Atılgan and his works. The following chapters analyze the ways of creating the represented world, and in particular specificity of the narrative and alternation of points of view in the text. The formal analysis allows to proceed to the analysis of the plotline and to focus on the hitherto unstudied problem of reality and fiction in terms of events depicted in the novel. The conclusions give the possibility of a new insight into the main plotline features of the novel and the author’s vision of the world, and thus – reread the work taking into account the previously unseen aspects.
