Ewy Miklaszewskiej, Kraków: Instytut Ekonomii, Finansów i Zarządzania UJ, 57 s., 46 poz. bibl., 15 rys.AbstraktCel niniejszej pracy stanowi przeanalizowanie specyfiki i uwarunkowań rozwoju systemu bankowego na Ukrainie jako następstwa przemian ustrojowo - gospodarczych tego państwa w roku 1991 i odłączenia się od Związku Sowieckiego.W rozdziale pierwszym scharakteryzowano system bankowy Ukrainy, a w związku z tym zdefiniowano pojęcie systemu bankowego, podstawowe instytucje systemu pieniężnego oraz kredytowego w tym państwie, a także perspektywy jego funkcjonowania oraz rozwoju i kondycji, wynikającą z działalności Narodowego Banku Ukrainy. W rozdziale drugim przeanalizowano kondycję systemu bankowego na Ukrainie, pod względem jego stabilności, rentowności, a także uwarunkowań i specyfiki ubezpieczeń depozytów. Wskazano także na specyfikę i uwarunkowania dostosowywania się Ukrainy do regulacji unijnych w zakresie działania bankowości. Rozdział trzeci poświęcono zweryfikowaniu wpływu kryzysu finansowego, mającego miejsce w latach 2008-2009, na ukraiński system bankowy. Nakreślono zatem genezę tegoż kryzysu, jego skutki, a także metody przezwyciężania, zastosowane generalnie na świecie, i szczególnie na Ukrainie. Praca została zakończona krótkim podsumowaniem oraz konkluzjami.

Ewa Miklashewska, Kraków: Institute of Economics, Finance and Management, Jagiellonian University, 57 pages, 46 bibliographical entries, 15 pictures.AbstractThe purpose of this work is to analyze the specifics and determinants of the development of the banking system in Ukraine, as a consequence of the systematic transformation of that country in 1991 and the disconnection from Soviet Union.In the first chapter, the banking system of Ukraine was characterized, and therefore the concept of the banking system, basic institutions of the money and credit system in that country was defined, as well as the prospects for its functioning and its development together with condition resulting from the activities of the National Bank of Ukraine. The second chapter analyzes the condition of the banking system in Ukraine, in terms of its stability, profitability, as well as the conditions and specifics of deposit insurance. The specifics and conditions of Ukraine's adaptation to EU regulations in the field of banking activity were also pointed out. The third chapter is devoted to the verification of the impact of the financial crisis, taking place in 2008-2009, on the Ukrainian banking system. Therefore, the genesis of this crisis, its consequences and methods of overcoming, both in the world and in Ukraine were outlined. The work was completed with a short summary and conclusions.
