The benefits and costs from Greece’s exit from the eurozone.

The paper presents an attempt to assess the benefits and costs of Greece's exit from the euro area. The theoretical part describes the Greek economy, the creation of the euro zone and the effects of recovery plans during the crisis in Greece as well as the establishment of the AHP method. In the research part, the economic, social and political criteria for classification of sub-criteria were made. The Super Decisions program was used to create a simulation model of the exit from the euro zone from both the Greek and EU perspectives. Possible options were the exit of Greece from the entire EU, the euro area or maintaining the status quo. The results for both parties indicated that the best decision is to leave the status quo.

W pracy zaprezentowano próbę oceny korzyści i kosztów wyjścia Grecji z strefy euro. W części teoretycznej dokonano charakterystyki greckie gospodarki, powstania strefy euro oraz efekty planów naprawczych w czasie kryzysu w Grecji jak również założenia metody AHP. W części badawczej dokonano klasyfikacji kryteriów gospodarczych, społecznych oraz politycznych waraz z przedstawieniem subkryteriów. W programie Super Decisions stworzono model symulacji wyjścia z strefy euro zarówno z perspektywy greckiej jak i EU. Możliwymi wariantami były: wyjście Grecji z całej EU, strefy euro bądź zachowanie status quo. Wyniki dla obu stron wskazały, że najlepszą decyzją jest pozostawienie statusu quo.
