Type D personality and achievement motivation in alcohol addicts.

The problem of alcoholism is very extensive and consists of many determinants. Excessive consumption of alcohol contributes to the deterioration of human functioning on many levels. This work aims to show the prevalence of type D personality in alcohol addicts and to determine the causes and level of current stress experienced by them. The work will also allow to define the dependence of the motivation of achievement on the occurrence of alcoholism. The research was carried out using questionnaire methods, such as: Leistungsmotivationsinventar (LMI-K), Perceived Stress Questionnaire (PSQ-R), The Type-D Scale (DS-14) and Stress Scale (SRRS - Social Readjustment Rating Scale). The conclusions drawn from the work make it possible to increase awareness of alcohol disease and emphasize the importance of therapeutic impact for alcohol addicts.

Problem choroby alkoholowej jest bardzo rozległy i składa się na niego wiele czynników warunkujących. Nadmierne spożywanie alkoholu przyczynia się do pogorszenia funkcjonowania człowieka na wielu płaszczyznach. Niniejsza praca ma na celu przedstawienie częstości występowania osobowości typu D u osób uzależnionych od alkoholu oraz określenie przyczyn i poziomu odczuwanego przez nich stresu bieżącego. Praca pozwoli również na zdefiniowanie zależności motywacji osiągnięć z występowaniem alkoholizmu. Badania zostały przeprowadzone z użyciem metod kwestionariuszowych, takich jak: Inwentarz Motywacji Osiągnięć (LMI-K - Leistungsmotivationsinventar), Kwestionariusz Percepcji Stresu (PSQ-R - Perceived Stress Questionnaire), Skala do Pomiaru Osobowości Typu D (DS-14 - The Type-D Scale) oraz Skala Wydarzeń Życiowych (SRRS - Social Readjustment Rating Scale). Wnioski płynące z pracy umożliwiają zwiększenie świadomości na temat choroby alkoholowej oraz podkreślają wagę oddziaływania terapeutycznego dla osób uzależnionych.
