Literary "purity" as understood by Akutagawa Ryūnosuke - based on fragments of Bungeiteki na, amari ni bungeiteki na (Literary, all too literary)

Thesis concentrates on the concept of literary "purity" and on understanding that term by Akutagawa Ryūnosuke. By translation and commentary of the first five chapters of his text Bungeiteki na, amari ni bungei teki na Akutagawas opinions on this and resulting from it relevant topics, like contemporary authors (ex. Shiga Naoya), debate with Tanizaki Jun'ichiro, I-novels (shishōsetsu) or differences between "purity" in prose and poetry are introduced. In the commentary included are explanations of terms used by Akutagawa and their interpretation in the context of the main topic. Thesis also includes mentions about influence of prose, paintings and poetry of Western authors on Akutagawa.

Praca skupiona jest na pojęciu "czystości" literackiej i zrozumieniu tego terminu przez Akutagawę Ryūnosuke. Przez tłumaczenie i komentarz pierwszych pięciu rozdziałów jego tekstu krytycznoliterackiego Bungeiteki na, amari ni bungeiteki na przybliżona jest opinia Akutagawy na ten i wynikające z niego tematy dotyczące m.in. współczesnych mu innych autorów tj. Shiga Naoya, debata z Tanizakim Jun'ichiro, powieści o sobie (shishōsetsu) czy różnice między "czystością" prozy i poezji. W komentarzu zawarte są wytłumaczenia terminów używanych przez Akutagawę oraz ich interpretacja w kontekście głównego tematu. Praca zawiera również fragmenty dotyczące wpływu, jaki na Akutagawę wywarły proza, malarstwo i poezja autorów Zachodnich.
