Problem wielokulturowości w Białych Zębach Zadie Smith i Brick Lane Moniki Ali

The thesis discusses some of the major themes of the two novels. The first chapter is dedicated to Zadie Smith's White Teeth, and it analyses the concept of identity as experienced by the members of the first and the second generation of immigrants. The second chapter is devoted to Brick Lane by Monica Ali. The chapter focuses on the theme of assimilation. At the end of the thesis there are some conclusions drawn from both chapters.

Niniejsza praca analizuje kilka głównych motywów przewodnich zawartych w dwóch powieściach. Pierwszy rozdział został poświęcony Białym Zębom Zadie Smith i zawiera analizę pojęcia tożsamości na przykładzie członków pierwszego i drugiego pokolenia imigrantów. Drugi rozdział dotyczy Brick Lane Moniki Ali i koncentruje się na asymilacji. Na końcu pracy znajduje się podsumowanie obu rozdziałów.
