Praca przedstawia zarys dziejów kieleckich Żydów, a przede wszystkim prezentuje instytucje działające w Kielcach i ich inicjatywy podejmowane w celu upamiętnienia dziedzictwa religijno-kulturowego Żydów z Kielc. Celem badań przeprowadzonych na potrzeby stworzenia pracy, było sprawdzenie jak mieszkańcy Kielc postrzegają inicjatywy podejmowane w celu upamiętnienia Żydów oraz czy pogłębiają one ich wiedzę na temat dawnych żydowskich mieszkańców miasta.
The work presents an outline of the history of Kielce Jews, and above all, presents institutions from Kielce and their initiatives undertaken to commemorate the religious and cultural heritage of the Jews from Kielce.The purpose of the research carried out for the purposes of creating this thesis was to check how the inhabitants of Kielce perceive the initiatives taken to commemorate Jews and whether they deepen their knowledge of former Jewish residents of the city.
