Psychological and psychopathological threads in the scientific achievements of the pioneer of Polish forensic medicine Leon Wachholz (1867-1942)

The work has a historical character and is devoted to the pioneer of Polish forensic medicine Leon Wachholz (1867-1942). He was an outstanding specialist in forensic science, psychiatry and forensic psychology and psychopathology, as well as a precursor of experimental approaches in all these fields. The work describes the figure and dramatic fate of this scientist, as well as his psychological views scattered throughout numerous texts. The concepts thoroughly considered refer to the psychopathology of children, teenagers and adults, which Wachholz introduced in modern and pioneering for those times textbooks.
