Zobowiązania międzynarodowe w dziedzinie transferu broni i technologii masowego rażenia

The aim of the thesis is to discuss the usefulness of international law, on non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, i. e. nuclear weapons, biological weapons and chemical weapons. International cooperation on control, disarmament and transfers, which regulate this problem, has been analysed in detail. The conclusions presented in thesis, are intended to determine whether the catalogue of legal norms, created over the years, is able to guarantee global security. In the analysis of the problem, it turned out to be important to define the conditions and principles, that guide international actors. At the same time, the trends that occur in arms transfers and trade are discussed. In addition, thesis attempts to present the activities and commitments of NATO, in terms of reducing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

Celem pracy, jest omówienie przydatności prawa międzynarodowego, w kwestii nieproliferacji broni masowego rażenia, tj. broni atomowej, broni biologicznej oraz broni chemicznej. Szczegółowej analizie, została poddana współpraca międzynarodowa, dotycząca kontroli, rozbrojenia i transferów, które regulują ten problem. Przedstawione w pracy wnioski, mają za zadanie określić, czy katalog norm prawnych, tworzony na przestrzeni lat, jest w stanie, zagwarantować bezpieczeństwo globalne. W analizie problemu, istotne okazało się określenie uwarunkowań oraz zasad, jakimi kierują się podmioty na arenie międzynarodowej. Jednocześnie, omówione są tendencje, które występują przy okazji transferu i obrotu bronią. Ponadto, praca podejmuje próbę przedstawienia działalności i zobowiązań NATO, w kwestii ograniczenia proliferacji broni masowego rażenia.
