The work is based on an analysis of the implementation of the United States security strategy in the 21st century. The work begins with the preparations of the United States for entry into the 21st century. A period of very dynamic changes and full of challenges for the defense of the country was anticipated by the then President Bill Clinton, who already then presented the strategies signed by him. This work is divided into periods of the presidencies of George Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
