Suwerenność państwa w kontekście przynależności do Unii Europejskiej. Wybrane zagadnienia.

Praca ma na celu przybliżenie tematyki wybranych zagadneń odnoszących się do suwerenności państwa w kontekście przynależności do Unii Europejskiej. Praca składa się z trzech zasadniczych części. W pierwszym rozdziale przybliżone zostało pojęcie i rozwój idei suwerenności państwowej. Przytoczone zostały niezbędne do zrozumienia pracy definicje oraz krótki rys historyczny ewolucji interpretacji tegoż pojęcia. Rozdział drugi pracy poświęcony został suwerenności państwa w kontekście integracji europejskiej. Przedstawione zostały najważniejsze teorie przyświecające jednoczącej się Europie oraz próba scharakteryzowania unikatowych cech Unii Europejskiej. W tej części pracy znajduje się również odpowiedź na kluczowe pytanie – czy państwa przystępujące do Unii Europejskiej, i stające się jej pełnoprawnymi członkami, możemy określać nadal jako w pełni suwerenne? Rozważania dotyczące zagadnienia pierwszeństwa prawa unijnego przed prawem krajowym Państw Członkowskich znalazły się natomiast w rozdziale trzecim.

The aim of the thesis is to introduce the topics of selected issues related to the sovereignty of the state in the context of belonging to the European Union. The work consists of three main parts. The first chapter introduces the concept and development of the idea of ​​state sovereignty. Definitions necessary to understand the work were cited, as well as a brief historical outline of the evolution of the interpretation of the concept. The second chapter of the work is devoted to the sovereignty of the state in the context of European integration. The most important theories guiding the uniting Europe and an attempt to characterize the unique features of the European Union were presented. This part of the work also contains the answer to the key question - can states that accede to the European Union and become its full members still be described as fully sovereign? Considerations regarding the issue of the primacy of EU law over the national law of the Member States are found in chapter three.
