Education in the Republic of Korea in the 21st century with particular emphasis on studying English language

The thesis concentrates around the topic of education in the Republic of Korea in the 21st century. It will be possible to learn about the importance of education in modern South Korea and what are the reasons as to why it is such a significant issue in that society. In addition, all levels of education from child care centers up to secondary schools are described further. Finally, there will be presented the situation of studying English on a formal level and how the popularity of this language in the Republic of Korea has been increasing over the years.

Praca koncentruje się wokół tematyki edukacji Republiki Korei w XXI wieku. Dowiedzieć się będzie można jak duże znaczenie ma edukacja w dzisiejszych czasach w Korei Południowej oraz z czego obecna sytuacja wynika. Ponadto, w dalszej części opisane zostały wszystkie szczeble szkolnictwa od ośrodków opieki dla małych dzieci aż po szkoły średnie. Na koniec przybliżona zostanie sytuacja nauki języka angielskiego od strony formalnej oraz jak wzrastała popularność owego języka w Republice Korei na przestrzeni lat.
