Turkish influence in the Balkans region - on the example of Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina

Master's thesis is an attempt to describeTurkish influences on the 2 selected Balkan countries after 1989, subjectes of analysis are diplomatic, economic and social-cultural influency.The framework of thesis is the role theory in international relations.Depending on the international pressure and internal efforts, the state have taken varius roles, sometimes opposed to each other. The thesis is an attempt to show this complex phenomenon, using the example of Turkey's influence on Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Praca przedstawia wpływy Turcji na dwa wybrane kraje bałkańskie po 1989 r., poddając analizie oddziaływanie dyplomatyczne, gospodarcze i społeczno - kulturowe jako dominujące impulsy.Ramy koncepcyjne pracy stanowi teoria ról międzynarodowych.W zależności od nacisków ze strony środowiska międzynarodowego oraz wewnętrznych dążeń, państwo może pełnić cały szereg różnych, czasami również wzajemnie sprzecznych ról. Praca jest próba ukazania tego złożonego zjawiska, na przykładzie oddziaływania Turcji na Bułgarie oraż Bośnie i Hercegowine.
