Religion and aspects of the sacred as an attempt to interpret the phenomenon of gravettian figurines

This paper discusses the analysis of anthropomorphic , female figurines in vulva-style, manufactured by Gravettian society. Particular attention was given to the question of religion, to the place of the women in religion and vulva-style place in religion. In large area we can see common features demonstrating the existence of the same beliefs and even the entire religious system based on the male-female dualism.

Niniejsza praca obejmuje analizę antropomorficznych, kobiecych przedstawień figuratywnych cechujących się stylistyką waginatywną, wytwarzanych przez ludność technokompleksu graweckiego. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono kwestii religii, oraz miejscu kobiety w religii a także elementowi waginatywnemu. Na dużym obszarze dostrzegamy wspólne cechy świadczące o istnieniu tego samego rodzaju wierzeń, a nawet całego systemu religijnego opartego na dualiźmie męsko-żeńskim.
